Since its inception, Christmas In Action Spartanburg has helped more over 600 homeowners throughout 17 different South Carolina communities. Through our home renovations these deserving individuals were able to inhabit their houses with a renewed sense of security and peace of mind. Christmas In Action has received literally hundreds of letters and cards expressing feelings of gratitude from work day recipients. Read what a few of our homeowners wrote:

Measurable Outcomes

  • 623 homes have been repaired by Christmas In Action
  • 17 communities in Spartanburg County have benefited from Christmas In Action
  • 81 Spartanburg County homeowners were assisted by Christmas In Action in 2011.
  • 156 college students learned basic home repair skills through our new Young And Old Project in 2011.
  • Approximately 575 high school students from eight states worked on home repairs and landscaping projects in Spartanburg through the Wayfarer Project in the summer of 2011.  
  • In 2011 alone over 5,750 Christmas In Action volunteer hours helped make an impact in the community.
